Ran across this odd gadget the kid got years ago. It's just a chain of gears, each one moving a bit slower than the previous one. How slow? The text says it will take the last gear 10.3 billion years to turn once (more gear turn info in the image ALTs). Being as it is unplugged it will take even longer. Also, considering the quality of construction (no bearings, plastic gears) it might not make it a year.

@jerzone When my kid was first getting into Lego, we built one of these. Such great kid conversations!
Also, I love the language on that last note, "the Sun will have expanded into a red giant, *obliterating* the earth."
