The enshitification of the internet is going to make organizing a lot more difficult.
With people leaving digital collective spaces for more niche spaces or leaving altogether, meeting the people where they are is going to be a huge task.
I know organizing with folks locally is the best solution, but even communicating with people locally still uses the internet in some capacity.

@majorlinux Occupy was organized almost entirely on facebook and Twitter, at least the public/marketing stuff. I don't know how that kind of thing happens without a place where you can potentially communicate with everyone in a city. Obviously neither can be used that way anymore, and nothing matches their reach at that time or really even comes close.
