I agree in principle.That said, Marin has no skin in the game anymore, so this is no badass opinion, it's a cheap one.
I hate to say this with the risk to be called Trumpian by people who barely get the point, but we are in this situation due to Biden not supporting Ukraine fully from the beginning.
Wars like these historically either escalate quickly, something Russia likely is not finding any support to do, from China mostly, or they keep eating up the populations irreparably

I never said Russia is not a batshit crazy medieval invader.
That is also expected of Russia and Putin by now.
No one, not even Italy is safe from Russia. Some of us always knew it.Surely the US, at whose tit Finland and Sweden suckled forever, knew just as well.
Inaction remains the worst sin here. And this treaty is just more of that, inaction.
