@francina1909 a tuo avviso i canadesi sono veramente diversi dagli statunitensi? Io ho avuto il piacere di conoscere solo 5 persone canadesi (5 simpatiche vedove in vacanza in Giamaica...) e mi hanno fatto una veramente bella impressione. Quel popolo mi incuriosisce.

Yes.
But also with the recognition that the system working this way is ripe for abuse and pile ons. It's easy for a bad actor to use the system to target someone they simply don't like or actively want to harm.
So mods, admins, and even individuals need to use their own wits and sense and not take a demand at face value. "Doing your own research" is fraught with pitfalls if its own, so it's not that simple, either.
There ARE accounts that simply shouldn't be hosted anywhere. There are also demands for a fediblock that are nothing but targeted abuse.
We have to deal with both and be wise to both.

@Otttoz anche io, però la definizione di "si stava bene" mi sembra un po' ottimistica. Nel poco tempo che ho passato in quella bellissima terra ho avuto come accompagnatore una persona (nata e sempre vissuta a Cuba) di grandissima cultura e conoscenza storica. In ogni momento leggevo nei suoi occhi la tristezza per non avere avuto la possibilità di visitare il mondo e le bellezze di cui mi ha parlato in quelle poche ore passate insieme. La libertà non ha prezzo...

@zipidog io sono stata in Quebec e a Ottawa e Toronto.
Il Quebec mi è piaciuto molto. Quebec City è un gioiellino. Montreal è un mix tra Nord America ed Europa.
Toronto è molto stile US, con grattacieli e palazzi moderni. Però è più a misura d'uomo.
Il centro di Ottawa è carino, ma la città mi ha sconvolta per la quantità di senza tetto e tossici/ubriachi che c'erano nella zona del nostro hotel. A pensarci ora potrebbero essere stati le vittime del Fentanil.
