I love the piece Cory Doctorow wrote about RSS.
But I take exception to the idea that it's been dormant, or that Google made it work. The NYT did that. And there were lots of good if not great feed readers before Google.

And Google, by requiring titles, really mucked everything up. We're still paying the price, even though their product has been gone since 2013.

@Frieke72 @petergleick I have been telling people since the first Intifada to watch what Israel does to Palestinians and Palestine, because it is a munitions and control testing ground.
Since that time, our police have been trained using IDF trainers and tactics, hence the extraordinary uptick in brutality, total information control is almost fully implemented globally, and we have concentration camps on American soil, and empty ones waiting to be filled. You think the profit takers are going to leave them empty when prison slavery is still a law? Naw man, those camps are for us as soon as they run out of this weekâs âthemâ.

@KevinHennessy it is. There are a few living in and around the gardens. Escapees from a nearby estate I guess, or at least descendants of. This hen seems to be living in the garden and has quickly become rather tame.
