A common #myth around #FOSS is that it's a "#development model". I read this over and over again. Even in IT-related news. 🤦
This is #bullshit. FOSS does NOT tell developers HOW to develop the software. It tells them that the software must guarantee a set of basic freedoms to the user to be called FOSS. It's political.
REAL development models are: Waterfall, V model, Scrum, XP, etc. But not FOSS.

I remember studying Jane's work with chimpanzees at university, and was lucky enough to meet her about 20 years ago. She seemed just as special in person as you might expect from her work and campaigning. The world is a much poorer place without her.
