"First Light" (2023)

First time trying Ampersand Gessobord. First off, it doesn't have enough texture for pastel (and they don't claim to do). So I mixed water mixable oil and gesso for the underpainting. The texture, the "feel" is very different from paper. Definitely an interesting experiment!

Another disclaimer: If you are outside the US, your government may charge you the “Landing Cost” which I cannot cover on my side. This seems to be a common practice in Europe, and I had one buyer complain about it… With the stupid tariff thing ongoing, who knows what else gets charged, even though I am mailing this as a gift. If you don’t want to end up paying for the fee, you may not want to enter. Also, I am not responsible for damaged or lost mail. Here we go! 5/🧵

Disclaimer: All of them are unframed, and pastel paintings do need to be framed under glass to display. If you don’t want to pay for the cost, you may not want to enter. You can do it yourself though. All you need is a frame and a mat. Matting is strongly encouraged because it acts as a spacer between the art and glass. If you go to a framer, they will cut you a mat in your specification. 4/🧵

@fucinafibonacci @cipper @economia ste cose sono frutto del marciume che è ormai il sistema finanziario che fa comunella con il big tech (se sano ha la sua funzione, ma sano appunto !). Bitcoin era nato per liberare la moneta da strapotere di governi e banche centrali ecc , non per dare la stura a tutte queste follie….
