@_elena And if they really want to see several directions by several people (a luxury that most design clients don’t get really), they could use the budget they have for the second and third prizes to hire 2–3 people to create sketches/concepts before choosing one and pay them the first prize budget. But at least everyone gets hired fairly :)

@_elena @andycarolan It's not a nice opportunity, it's exploitation.
No matter how much you personally like the software, this is shady as fuck and they've lost all my respect.
@woe2you @andycarolan in all fairness maybe they are not aware of this because they are technical people who don't know designers. I will make sure to pass on your notes and feedback. TBF even I didn't know about this (and I'm a photographer / filmmaker)

@_elena Thanks Elena, oh yes, I'm 100% sure that it was well intentioned. It's totally impossible for us all to be aware of sentiment and practices within each other's industries. I'm sure I've taken missteps on occasion lol.

@kenobit Mi hai fatto venire in mente un paio di storielle successe mentre col team italiano testavamo i canali del Wii.
1) La collega che si era messa come status del messenger aziendale "Me cago en el Voting Channel" e gli spagnoli la corressero: "Me cago en el PUTO Voting Channel!"
2) Di solito testare questi canali era di una noia disumana perché va bene se li consulti 10 minuti, dopo otto ore ti vuoi sparare nei piedi.
Eravamo sul Canale Notizie ma non potevamo neppure leggere(segue)
