To people living in Japan:
What system do use to phone family in Britain?I use FaceTime to talk to my Mum but she’s in a Care Home and can get confused if there are technical hitches. If I needed to call Care staff in an emergency I’d have to use Docomo’s mobile or landline services which works out at over a pound a minute. Docomo used to have special deal on up to two dedicated international numbers but that system stopped some time ago.
Any advice or recommendations welcome.

My brother in law suggested using apps from
https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/international-calling-talk360/id1036150883?l=en-US
or
#Yollahttps://apps.apple.com/jp/app/international-calling-yolla/id985702286?l=en-US
For cheaper international calls via the internet.
Does anyone have experience with these? -
