Marketing kumbayah BS: "LibreOffice 26.2 shows what happens when software is built around users, not business models"But: Please check the actual release notes https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/26.2 for affiliations of developers. Glad that TDF still mentions that.

@opentechfan @libreoffice so this will allow us to write in Markdown everywhere in the suite? Not just import / export?

@opentechfan @libreoffice Yeah, nice. I usually have VSCode open anyway, but if youβre trying to get non/less-technical people to write in .md to run through a SSG, MkDocs, etc, being able to have them do that in a familiar office-type environment is a huge benefit over an IDE or some specialist md editor.

Big new update to #LibreOffice.
Thank you for the info, LO is a great and constantly improving product.
Will update later today.

@cos @libreoffice just import/export. A feature request asking for ui support was recently closed as "won't fix" (rightly so, IMO).

Cool,
but it's all too big for me.
I'll stick with my version 9.x on my notebook.
That's perfectly adequate for presentations...
