Here’s someone going out of their way to discredit Nouran and her brother Yousef ( @NouranKhaledGh). I’ve spoken with Nouran and Yousef over video on Signal and we’ve verified them on:
They are real. They are from Gaza. I’m in touch with them daily. They haven’t been able to evacuate yet.
They need your help.
And what is Daniel doing? Examining bloody shadows in video footage like some tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist attempting to disprove that the moon landings ever happened.
And writing blog posts about it:

This isn’t some computer game.
These are real people. Who are in danger. And need our help. And you’re not helping.

It’s not your job to placate every conspiracy theorist out there with a crackpot theory and more time than sense on their hands.
Please just concentrate on your studies and on staying safe.
I hope your family will be able to move South soon (if that’s what you’re planning).

È difficile pensare a cosa potrebbe succedere andando oltre, persino con una retrospettiva; non si può semplicemente pensare ad una persona di mille anni fa trapiantata nella società moderna, perché il soggetto immortale vivrebbe le trasformazioni personalmente, e quindi non subirebbe il trauma della “cesura” che si ha “saltando” la linea temporale.

A questo negli anni si sommerebbe l'effetto sul “medio” periodo (centinaia di anni) delle trasformazioni della società, e viceversa sempre piú in evidenza i suoi punti fermi: ci sono bellissimi thread qui sul Fediverso con titoli ed articoli di giornali di uno o anche due secoli fa che mostrano come, con tutto quello che è cambiato, ci sono cose che sembrano immutabili, e spesso anche risalendo ancora piú indietro ai grandi classici romani e greci.

Penso che sulla questione mantenimento il filone vampiresco offra buoni spunti, infatti non a caso sono sempre stati una sorta di rappresentazione horror della nobiltà.
(Anche un piccolo margine di accumulo portato avanti per lungo tempo genera rendite considerevoli.)

Mastodon has no current capability to undelete a status (it assumed perma deletion and ignores future activities to protect from replay attacks) @claire@social.sitedethib.com noted that the Mastodon team would be interested in updating this behaviour as there is desire to undo moderation actions She has signalled intent that Update(Note) is preferred We need to open an issue on the Mastodon issue tracker

@realcaseyrollins @hpod16 this are the top ones that I observed:
- Server selection onboarding. This is number one, you'll find plenty of posts online with confused users. Though Mastodon works on improving it soon it seems.
- Limited search and discovery (bottlenecked by the server)
- Broken uploads because of dead CDNs
- Confusing 'DM' featureThese all make sense to me and are ok, but casual Joe will struggle.

for me, it took some time to get used to the federated nature.
For example, if I am on my EUPolicy server and I open a link to a mastodon.social profile, I won't be logged into my EUPolicy account and can't directly interact. I have to find them in my search bar. It's not a huge thing, but it lead to some hang-ups.
I was shameless enough to admit I was struggling with this, and people in the comments just walked me through the process. Good community here.
