Adjusting to new glasses is the WORST
It doesn't help that my prescription only works for things 4-5 feet away or further (thanks, presbyopia!) but the next step down that most opticians will do is "computer glasses" which only work for things 1-3 feet away, and what I *actually* want is something that works, like 2~8 feet and then is just adequate enough for distance that I can drive in them.
I feel like I would either have to lie on an online order form or negotiate with another optometrist to get those though.

IT does appear that I can convince my left eye to focus a *little* closer at the expense of, like, some migraines while my brain adjusts. (The longer I wear them the clearer my vision gets.)
And the new glasses are actually my prescription and not a copy of a copy of glasses that were correct ten years ago.
But I'm still frustrated. And headache-y. Ow. Ow. Ow.

@tess I recently bright my kid to get his eyes checked because he obviously need glasses. Doctor said she wants to check him again in 8 months, and check me too while we're at it. The worst is, I know she's right.

@Veza85UE vedo che ti risulta anche difficile capire che le "vibes atlantiste", come le chiami tu (o le pulsioni guerrafondaie senza nemmeno il coraggio della firma come le chiamo io) configurano un oggettivo fiancheggiamento di poteri politici, economici e militari razzisti e genocidi anche se le "vibes" vengono emanate da anime belle, pulite e antirazziste che mai si sognerebbero di far affogare dei bambini se non per interposta persona, per mano dei criminali che votano e applaudono.

@Veza85UE l'onere della prova è tuo, sei tu che devi dimostrare che non esistono le mafie e il traffico di armi segnalati da Interpol ed Europol, devi anche dimostrare che le uniche armi che ci interessa controllare sono i cannoni, che l'unico paese di origine delle armi che ci interessa controllare è la Francia, e che l'unica destinazione per la quale si deve fare attenzione che nulla vada smarrito nel percorso sono i paesi baltici. Il resto sono chiacchiere che io non sono tenuto a confutare.
