    Actually I was wrong, there is a context so thats fine. The problem is that audience should be a simple string but you are sending an error, thats why it fails. Anyway that field is optional, so you can leave it out and put the community in to or cc instead.

    julian No but still the field is mandatory (mainly because that hasnt caused any problems so far).

    aus aktuellem Anlaß, auf den ich später noch mit mehr Details zurückkommen will, darf ich (noch) einmal auf mein Projekt eines eigenen -Servers namens hinweisen, in den ich demnächst mehr Zeit investieren will.

    Dazu sei auch auf vier auf laufende Accounts meinerseits hingewiesen, die ich in Zukunft hoffentlich auch aktiver mit sinnvollen Beiträgen bestücke... :-)

    Hi, I had a look at the activities sent from your account. Looks like the only problem is that you are missing a @context field. After adding that it parses just fine. What you serve from / is irrelevant, that one is completely optional.

    maikel@vmst.io what is there to talk about? ActivityPub is a decentralized and distributed protocol. Deletion is best effort and while the ideal use case would be instant deletion of your own content, everywhere, on demand, it's just not feasible.

    I sympathize, I really do, I just don't have any answers.

    Hey folks,If you have the opportunity, I would kindly suggest to move off of mastodon.social.It's one of the biggest, if not still the biggest instance and has been showing problematic activity not just now, but over the years.That means being blocked by that instance, or trying to block that instance results in losing contact with a lot of people.Which happened to @fabio just recently for the second time by being blocked. And I don't think any other instance to speak of did that.The NPO behind it is also registered in Germany.- a country which has the "Staatsräson" since 2008 of "The security of Israel is unnegotiable", "Our unconditional solidarity with Israel has never been under question for me. My personal relationship with Israel is unconditionally good." (then chancellor Angela Merkel)Of course not a word about the security of Palestine or Palestinians.- The country where now the Chancellor echoed words and the sentiment of former Nazi head propagandist Goebbels, by talking of migrants as an issue for the city image, for which he does not apologize. We can block the IP address of him to stop him from signing up here, but we cannot stop him from chosing any server and signing up there. Mods in other servers need to do that. 2. We have a script running to suspend ASAP. This relies on assistance from other servers to update the shared spreadsheet.Mastodon's coding doesn't have reliable antispam measures that fit this sceneraio. Other servers don't have better spam measures.
