@sAshA8H yes that’s a short scale.
I bought a normal scale first but when I tried another lady’s short scale everything changed. I decided that probably normal bass guitars are designed for big man-hands and I should embrace my small but dexterous lady fingers, and just get a short scale (and then I found one in my colour, and I was sold. Or rather the bass was sold. To me.)

DR Strings https://www.drstrings.com/ I kove them! If you play with fingers they last very long, with a pick the coating will come off there a bit. The sound is good. The white and neon strings are glowing in uv light.
