- Self-employment and part-time employment = employed, unless you don't consider it employment.
- Not sure if you're burnt out? If you're not okay, chances are you're burnt out. Don't worry, you're not alone.

2/2 - Unemployment.
@mayintoronto Changed jobs during early COVID due to burn out. Caught COVID from a coworker at the new job who everyone knew was ignoring lockdown. Now I'm disabled but nobody will write that down, so I must throw myself into new jobs just for them to realize my body is destroyed and drive me out, resulting in perpetual burn out and anxiety about my ability to survive.
People are the reason other people burn out. Burn out is an occupational injury. COVID is an occupational hazard.

@morten_skaaning @lritter @datgame these days with the world being what it is, I'm feeling much less motivated to make stuff that is likely to need fancy high end hardware. why bother when virtually any GPU pulled out of the trash in the past 20 years or so has a fill rate that would make Pythagoras weep tears of pure ecstasy. I don't need advanced math to make pretty graphics, I've got a fucking art degree

@misnina I once took apart a 3.5" disk because I was a curious child - There *WAS* a floppy disk hidden in that protective case!

In Polish any floppy disk was "dyskietka" despite the size (8/5.25/3.5/etc.).
Common jargon phrase was "flop".
You could hear "duลผa dyskietka" (big floppy) for 5.25" and "maลa dyskietka" (small floppy) for 3.5" one. No idea was there a phrase for 8" ones.

@misnina in French we called them "disquette" (pronounced exactly like "diskette"), a shorter and kinda cute term.
