Abbiamo un Paese, il nostro, letteralmente inginocchiato alle esigenze e ai progetti sionisti, con il MOSSAD che se la passeggia in giro, truppe d'assalto dell'IDF che vacanzeggiano sulle nostre spiagge, la sicurezza informatica in mano ad aziende private israeliane, il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze che fa affari con Israele partecipando con enti come ENI (31%) e Leonardo s.p.a. (30%)... cosa dovremmo aspettarci?

In Zagreb, I realized my 2021 MacBook Pro M1 is starting to show its age. The battery life is shorter and the system seems slower than it was at the beginning, perhaps also due to the latest OS version. Yesterday, I used the "new" Acer with openSUSE Tumbleweed, running KDE Plasma. It's small, I paid about 500 euros for it, and it has a good monitor, but the battery life is poor, and that's the main reason I still primarily use the Mac. And yet, it gave me a greater sense of speed than the Mac. When one of the BSDs works well enough on this laptop (mainly suspend/resume), it will probably become my daily driver on the go. I need to try OpenBSD 7.8 as soon as it will be out.
it might have some surprises in store for me.

Today I'm decommissioning my work laptop, and moving to a new machine. The 3-year leasing period is over.

The old one is an M1 Macbook Pro. While on previous occasions I really looked forward to the performance boost of a new laptop, with this one, I would have just kept using it for another 1-2 years.

The replacement is an M4 Macbook Air. According to colleagues, it's marginally nicer. But not "OMG shut up and take my money" nicer.

Interesting to learn that they still manage to sound superficially similar by some weird phenomenon of linguistic convergent evolution. Thanks for sharing.

*yes I'm aware that's not the idiom; it's on purpose.
