I'm building a Sound Library for Loops, my #ActivityPub video project, to let users add free audio to their videos.

I'm already looking into integrations with #FunkWhale and Bandwagon.

What other sources for free, libre, or public domain (CC-BY, CC0, etc.) music and sound effects should I check out?

I am a firm believer in KISS. Aim to get Loops up, stable and gaining traction before adding bells and whistles.

@MichaelBishop I agree, but the Sound Library is part of our NLnet grant milestones that need to be finished before December.

@dansup potentially https://www.jamendo.com/ which has been around for a long time and hosts creative commons licensed music. They seem to have some kind of a paid licensing thing these days so it's no longer purely that but you can still see what licenses the music uploaded there has. Here's one with CC-BY for example: https://www.jamendo.com/track/1342479/breathe
