I'm building a Sound Library for Loops, my #ActivityPub video project, to let users add free audio to their videos.
I'm already looking into integrations with #FunkWhale and Bandwagon.
What other sources for free, libre, or public domain (CC-BY, CC0, etc.) music and sound effects should I check out?

I am a firm believer in KISS. Aim to get Loops up, stable and gaining traction before adding bells and whistles.

@MichaelBishop I agree, but the Sound Library is part of our NLnet grant milestones that need to be finished before December.

At this year's Solid Symposium, we gave a presentation on the lessons we've learned from building and maintaining several ActivityPods applications since 2022. The result is 14 key learnings that we're glad to share with the Solid community.

This year, at the famous FOSDEM gathering in Brussels (Belgium), we were invited by the SocialWeb devroom to give a presentation on ActivityPods. It was an opportunity to highlight the “universal social network” that would be possible with ActivityPods, and how it differs from the Bluesky project.
