My city #gameassets already has suburban, commercial and industrial buildings. However, I know you've been asking for more 'special' buildings like windmills, schools, a hospital and more. What buildings would you like to see?

@kenney How about an ai datacenter that's like the size of 20 skyscrapers? :D

@ZoidbergForPresident Oh right, police will be added for sure. It's a staple in many city simulation games. Also, police is quite chill here

@kenney i like how you even kept the classic simcity color scheme in these images: residential buildings have green roofs, industrial ones have yellow highlights and commercial buildings have huge windows with blue reflections

Train/bus stations, a heliostat tower as a big industrial centrepiece (setting up all the mirrors surrounding it sounds like a nightmare but I think it'd be far more eyecatching than regular power plants), gas stations, clarifier tanks for making water treatment plants. That's what comes to mind at least.

@rnd You're not going to believe this; I only now realize now that you say this. It must've been a total accident OR just somehow my SimCity fandom slipped in unconsciously

@kenney some ideas: parking garage, subway station, [elevated] trains, road/rail tunnel, strip mall, gas station, "kwik-e-mart" style corner store, cosco/walmart style super stores (e.g. huge 1 floor big box store), residential and industrial chain link fencing, port/shipyard, train station, bus station, town hall, clock tower, airport, older/small town style brick buildings, town park assets (e.g. trees, swings, gazebo), prison, parking lot, car dealership, fire station, fast food stores...

@kenney I could go on, but maybe those spark some ideas for you? I'm mostly picturing things that are either more rare in a city, or otherwise break up uniform regions.

@drakonite @kenney yup I was definitely thinking parking garages and gas stations. I think a city would feel off immediately if you didn't see any around.
