Lady Liberty was a big hit—brought 200 zines and gave away every last one—the Hope and Joy zines went fast.
A ton of people took my picture.

Tools of the resistance!
Can't tell you how excited people were to get free zines from Lady Liberty. Came up to me, wanted to see the box.
It helped that the zines were labeled, but when Joy and Hope were gone and only Mutual Aid and Movement Building were left, it was kind of ironic commentary!

EVERYONE wanted a picture of Lady Liberty. Many wanted a picture WITH Lady Liberty. Especially kids,but adults too. Lots of pro picture-takers too, probably some press.
I was hoping there'd be another Statue of Liberty...and I was not disappointed! Only pix I have of the protest (hands were full)!

I love how Portland Frog has given permission for everyone to get creative and have fun with this.

Well... actually the shiny plate armour arrived late in the middle age, close to the end.
Armours must be resistant and light (well... as light as an iron suit can be 😁). They need technical skills and tools that took time to discover and master.
At the beginning they just used thick leather covers, then moved to chain mail and only at the end they could build armours.
