</tangent>@peteorrall hey there! bit of a delay here, as I'm just getting back on socials after a holiday break. it's a decent box, the processor itself is strong, very high ranking on single core performance, and 32 threads is a decent minimum per-socket for my workloads. my only desire with it would be more PCIe lanes - either via physical or through a PCIe retimer/redriver switch.

J'ai constaté à diverses occasions que agir, créer, faire soi-même, est un antidote à l'impression de subir les choses.
Une de mes filles était très anxieuse face aux changements climatiques, nous avons appris à cultiver un jardin et elle a maintenant davantage l'impression de pouvoir, modestement, agir.
Le fédivers, c'est ma façon de faire quelque chose face à l'oligarchie.

BTW as I'm now feeling better, I toyed around with the exponent to c and apparently the lowest error is found with exponent 1.9296 but yeah having to resort to the power function is URGH
