Honestly the greatest thing done in service of telling people their taste in music has gotten old is the When We Were Young festival, which featured My Chemical Romance and Paramore in its original lineup.
Because at that point (2022) those two bands were 21 and 18 years old, respectively.

eh, ma secondo me questa cosa è più trasversale che generazionale. mi ricordo quando ero al liceo (anni novanta): pur essendo un contesto già abbastanza elitario (era un classico) la maggior parte dei miei coetanei non aveva una grande idea di cosa succedesse intorno né curiosità culturale e si limitava a consumare prodotti e intrattenimento/cultura commerciale di massa. forse era meno compulsivo e meno alienante rispetto a stare con il naso sempre sullo smartphone (ed essere nati con quello) però ad avere una vita politica/culturale di qualità (e critica) eravamo una piccola minoranza.
