I was going to mention Fedify, but it's not REALLY a client. You have access to create a fediverse test instance and then send messages, follow people, etc. through a CLI. But it's not made to be a client, per se.
Others mentioned DOStodon and can confirm that's one is a lot of fun.

It seems the joinloops.org front page doesn't like Firefox Mobile much. Slow to load, refuses to scroll, the buttons remain below the fold.
