*** story time **
Many moons ago, I worked for a company that mostly handled Gov contracts, especially legacy software maintenance and stuff like that. That was their main Biz. Of course, the entire Org acted like a Gov department itself, you know slow, bureaucratic to death, and hyper allergic to any new change. So did all their Gov clients. How do I say politely on socials? The environment was pure hell, but the pay was *okayish* and paid my bills. (1/4)

@evan frankenstein, at least with the framing of "your life's work is a spectacular failure that destroys you" otherwise idk. vampires and werewolves are both commonly allegories for marginalized people (eg sexual minorities, mental illness, and so on) so it's like my friends, family, and neighbors? hella not scary. skeletons are like practically appliances. useful, ordinary, harmless if used correctly.

libghostty can now encode terminal contents as HTML. On the left is an example program that reads stdin, loads it in a terminal, and encodes to HTML. On the right, an example of `fastfetch` encoded to the browser. Coming soon to Ghostty clipboard ops automatically.

I guess I gotta get some way to get more software onto one of these. Looks like it's either jrIDE or a Gotek with HxC firmware...but, since these don't have memory expansion already, it's probably worth going with a more expensive jrIDE for the 1MB memory.
And, since the disk drives actually work, I kinda hate to swap them for a Gotek. I have Racore expansion boxes for a second disk drive slot, but they're all incomplete, missing parts I can't even identify or find references for.
