@ginger_tosser @mastodonmigration write a longer thread with lots of popular # and y'all will exactly see what the problem is with that. the people i mean have thousands of followers and if every other reply is just "but what if this, but what if that", it's annoying and honestly somewhat condescending and disrespectful towards the people trying to provide content for y'all.

@kali @mastodonmigration isn’t the whole point of mastodon to have a social space for interaction & discussion rather than the broadcast only, look at me, look at me, influencer spaces? Someone boosted the thread & I read it and thought I was asking a reasonable question re user interaction styles between platforms.

Yeah, i can tell you i've lost all the enthusiasm in waiting for the people i've used to follow to come here. And i have found better people in Mastodon than in any other place.

@mastodonmigration frankly the people i know left and went back to bluesky all were scientists who said it was bc of the mansplaining and reply guys and i don't think they will come back. so what we're gonna do about that one?

@OctaviaConAmore @mastodonmigration i have no idea what is happening with that, why these nazi were even there or whatever. all i know is thinking that the isreal-palestine conflict will be decided in connewitz is some serious main-character nonsense and quiet frankly the rest of the world has moved on from this half a year ago.

as for Nazis, Bluesky invited and verified an account for ICE, the US group that's, as we speak, sending groups of armed, masked men into opposition cities and kidnapping and shooting people

@OctaviaConAmore @mastodonmigration idk how to explain, some german lefties still have not gotten the memo, sadly, that much more is at stake than leftie infights, which really worries me, bc this is the exact same dynamic which made people vote 3rd party or not vote at all in the US election.
