Normally, I wouldn't comment on someone's weight, but I think it's notable that Carleigh was quite slim at the start of season 3, and she almost certainly would have won if she'd come into the game 20 pounds heavier to start with. She has learned that lesson. That's commitment. (Still fine af.)

She is the one I think most deserved a second shot at it. And, I guess the producers agree, since she's the first one they introduced.

I don't get why Britt is back. I mean, I liked him OK, but he was a tough guy and was out pretty quick.

Randy!? They brought barefoot Randy back? Now they're just being silly.

Dave is looking awfully slim starting out. I don't think he learned the BMI lesson. He probably does deserve another shot, though.

Oh, Nicole is back, too. She was great.

The good news is I don't think there will be any temptation to build a boat. It looks like there will be a river and plains, maybe? No oceans to call out to them.

@shanecelis I'm on season 5! Don't read any more until you're caught up, I'm spoiling everything! I figure it's a ten year old series, so no harm in spoiling and I have so many opinions.

But, I've loved every season, so far, except season 4. Kinda binging.

Don't do it, Carleigh! Push the hook through, don't pull it out. If you've got a way to cut the eye or the barb side off, do that, but, if not, it's still less painful to pull a rounded thing through than the barb. Leaving it in for 20 hours was certainly more painful and risky than just pushing it through would have been. It sucks, but everybody who's done a lot of fishing has had to do it, I think?

I feel so bad for her, but...I think now we know she was just kinda lucky the first time.

Ah, Randy has been very successful fishing, they just didn't show it. OK, the cabin is fine as long as food is coming first.
