A lot is written about #solar energy as a response to the climate crisis. Less about its role in our political crisis: the fight against fascism.
The sun cannot be hoarded or centralized. So technology that harnesses its power tends to be highly antifascist. It’s why petro-fascists like Trump and Putin recognize solar energy as a threat to their hold on power. It’s why we see solar energy growing the fastest in the long-exploited developing economies of the global South.

@eniko the only real limitation of pixel fonts IME is the scalability (at least beyond integer scaling).
There's also the issue of supported alphabets/glyphs, but unless the game will have use strings this is at least something you control.
