@beach I don't want to give you any advice, but I can tell you what I do. I buy books in EPUB format (I avoid proprietary formats, preferring DRM-free ones), read them through Calibre (that's why I just say "I prefer" it, it doesn't matter), and then I do what I want with them (I usually read them on my iPad).
