i still think the funniest complaint i got from Kallen is when i did a video in which i claimed i was going to perform Ecco Ridente exactly as it was performed at the premiere of the Barber of Seville; I then act surprised when I discover one of the strings on my guitar is broken, and the video cuts out (this is indeed the manner in which Ecco Ridente was performed, or better said, not performed, at the premiere) she apparently thought this was a legit unexpected fuck up and scolded me
it should be obvious that if my intention was to do a video of myself playing the guitar, if i had recorded a video of myself hyping up what i was about to play then discovering one of the strings was broken, i would not post that video, i would replace the string and do another take. but no, it was taken by her to be the same as an unintended snafu during a live broadcast. this is how the boomer mind works

Kallen is likely to be particularly offended by this because her precious Luciano pulling this off with 9 C5's in covered head voice earned him the nickname "king of the high C's" and I'm pretending to not understand the significance of that achievement

the most hilarious thing about the Cessa/Empio troll video is the bait and switch doesn't happen until over 20 seconds in. She saw a video by someone she knows she can't stand, and rather than just swiping it away in disgust the moment she recognized me, she sat and watched it for at least half a minute, ensuring the algorithm keeps shoving my videos in her face

holy shit. I just realized because Kallen has spent so much time watching my videos and has left so many comments, the way the TikTok algo works is it will show my videos to those who follow her. Since she's a legend, that means eminent pros. She is ensuring the most famous and respected professional opera singers who have a presence on TikTok will be exposed to my shitposts. She truly is my biggest fan
