@acdw lots of data shows that people with less money are far more generous than the wealthy, which is the opposite of the way it should be.

@codinghorror @acdw delivering pizza in Bath, England twenty years ago (posh city full of Georgian townhouses with a couple of deprived areas) the tips definitely bore this out. the "rougher" the area the friendlier and more generous the people
