@Tutanota do you plan to roll your own after you release Tuta Drive? or do existing solutions check all the boxes as is
@pomagarnet We'd love to, but right now, we'll focus on the products we have.

@Tutanota I used KeePassXC before, with a side of 1Password for easier sharing with the family. Moved all of us to Proton, even the kid has his own vault now and everyone is happy.

KeePassXC with syncthing is the way! -

@Tutanota I'm missing Proton Pass on your list. They have a free tier, and the client apps are open source. I love the broad application and OS support, seamless sync between devices and the ability to share entries with other family members. It can also manage passkeys and TOTPs.

@Tutanota
KeePassXC with syncthing is the way!@RadicalEcologist @Tutanota that used to be my setup as well, but it turned out to be too brittle, especially with multiple family members and devices. I got fed up with having to resolve sync conflicts manually frequently because the files were modified at different locations but syncthing was suspended and the changes did not propagate. I've moved to Proton Pass now and don't regret it.
