@raul_volp I actually had this same question myself when I joined, maybe that you can retain connection with servers that were blocked or limited by your main server?
But honestly if they were blocked in the first place there was clearly an issue there.

@NullTheFool @raul_volp OTOH sometimes it's just admin/mod drama.
Alternative servers are still useful as a backup if your main instance goes down, and/or to separate a professional from a personal account.

If I may add: get the Penguin Classics edition with the foreword by Vivien Jones. It adds a lot of context and explains little weird references in the text (through footnotes).
All that extra information added to my enjoyment of the novel.
