The whistleblower said prisoners were given one cucumber, a few slices of bread and a cup of cheese, and that some of them were visibly malnourished.

"Every time prisoners are released, we find the prisoners’ bodies reflecting the level of crimes committed against them, including torture that is unprecedented in its level after October 7, starvation crimes, systematic medical crimes, and the infection of a number of them with scabies, in addition to the severe beatings that the prisoners were subjected to before their release, which continued for days according to many of their testimonies, and which in some cases led to rib fractures,” the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said in a statement.“The Prisoner’s Society confirms again that the occupation practices organized terrorism against the released prisoners and their families, through several methods that have been monitored, the most prominent of which are the severe beatings that the released prisoners were subjected to, and the threats that reached the point of killing if any reception party was organized or if the family showed any sign of reception.”

He has been held under administrative detention (imprisonment without a trial or committing an offense) since 11 September, 2023.With the death of Khaled, the number of #Palestinians killed in Israeli prisons has risen to at least 61, with at least 40 from #Gaza. He is the third Palestinian prisoner to be announced dead the past week.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Institutions stated that this currently the bloodiest phase the prisoners had to face since 1967.

An Israeli reserve soldier has exposed shocking abuses at the Sde Teiman detention camp in the Negev desert, describing it as a “sadistic torture site” where dozens of Palestinian detainees from Gaza died under brutal conditions.
The soldier described Sde Teiman as a place where “people enter alive and leave in body bags.” He said the death of detainees was no longer surprising. “The real surprise,” he added, “is if someone survives.”
He stated that Israeli authorities oversee systematic abuse. According to his account, #Palestinian detainees suffered starvation, untreated war wounds, and denial of basic hygiene needs. “Some urinated and defecated on themselves because they weren’t allowed to use the bathroom,” he said.
At least 36 Palestinian detainees have been killed under torture in #Sdeteiman since the start of Israel’s #genocide in #Gaza.
Despite this, Israel’s Supreme Court rejected a petition to close the camp in September, saying the government was “obligated to respect the law” inside the facility.

One more Palestinian detainee dies in #Israeli custody
A #Palestinian administrative detainee has died at Israel’s Soroka Hospital, according to the Palestinian authorities.Lo’ay Faisal Nasr-Allah, 22, died at the hospital where he was transfered to from from Negev Prison, Wafa news agency said in a report quoting the Civil Affairs Commission in the occupied territory.
It added that the detainee was from the occupied #WestBank governorate of #Jenin, adding that he was held under administrative detention since March 26 last year.
