The key take-away is that uncertainty kills businesses ability to make plans for the future. Brexit did this for the UK, and Trump's tariff nonsense is doing *exactly* the same to the USA, only faster (Brexit came after a four-year delay then took more years to reach full impact).
I expect the USA in 2028 to look as if it Brexited itself from the global economy in 2025. (But then add a tech bubble collapsing on top!)

Comunque per passare tempo mente la gente stamattina saliva da 37.4 agli attuali 38.6 mi sono visto Kill la Kill. Ora, potrebbe essere stata la febbre, ma possibile che sia una VACCATA SENZA SENSO a parte mostrare 17enni in abiti discinti, infilare tutti gli stereotipi possibili dell'arte narrativa giapponese in 24 episodi più uno, e fare giochi di parole che hanno senso solo nella loro lingua? Come ha fatto a diventare famoso?

Anybody remember that bit of trivia about a contest called "Hold Your Wee for a Wii"?
Found out the other day it was not a cute, whimsical thing. In fact, very fucked up.
So I thought, years ago when I read it, it was a contest where people simply drank a glass of water and then just stood around until they couldn't hold it in anymore.
However, it turns out that the contestants were told to drink more water over time, so much that several developed water poisoning, and at least one of them died of it.
Despite receiving a warning that this could happen and acknowledging it, the contest runners encouraged the drinking and made jokes about one contestant having a distended stomach. She developed an intense headache after, went home, and died an hour later.There was a lawsuit and a law made about it, related to hazing (technically they weren't forced to, but were pressured).

@lysander Io c'ho la mamma che abita vicino e per l'organizzazione è una gran cosa quando tra il lavoro mio e di mia moglie abbiamo bisogno di supporto, ma significa anche che se viene a sapere che ho la febbre chiede aggiornamenti ogni mezz'ora e la temperatura vuole saperla quindi il termometro devo tenerlo 8-D
