@matt OK, but it still feels bad. You have to run the service as root, and then start a session as a user, and then install an apk, and then launch the package...but the package icon doesn't show up if I just use the `show-full-ui` option. It feels so fiddly. Seems like somebody who understands how all the pieces work ought to be able to make a single command that spins everything up and runs an apk, without this complicated dance?
Now that's a properly professional attack. Excellent pretext; leverages expectations around windows' notoriously poor stability for end users; the malware accounts for Defender; it uses the presence of an obscure, machine-readable-but-human-obtuse measure to guide user action; and apparently it's got clear enough directions to get users to -compile software on the machine-.
This is truly exceptional; well fucking done on some actual -proper- villainy.
I started this poll because I was thinking about how Andrew Cuomo and to some extent Curtis Sliwa, in the New York mayoral race, repeatedly and intentionally mispronounced Zohran Mamdani's name, in an obvious attempt to other him. Here's a clip about it.
@evan My name is about easy as one can get on pronunciation but this odd thing happens repeatedly when some reads my name from say a reservation many times they address me as "Adam".
@Taweret here's what you could win, from me! #Monsterdon #MonsterdonSavesChristmasA 40mm art d20 of Godzilla mid-destruction! Nothing in here but resin and paint, so it's balanced for all your dice-rolling or shelf-displaying needs! It's hard to see in photos, so I also made a video.
