Yes and yes. But I don't expect much from social media to be fair. Interesting ppl, a nice chat here and there, some news, nice pics of cats and flowers, no shite shoved in my face by a dark algorithm.

@LianaBrooks Yes, Social Media started out with G+ for me. Nowadays I am on Mastodon only. And it works great. I learn a lot here, 99+% of all interactions are very civil.

@LianaBrooks yes, I have left Meta only one month ago but I love it here. Unfortunately friends and family still use fb and ig, but I hope they'll switch, sooner or later.
I am still working on my feed and connections, it takes some time, but the engagement is genuine and I post because I want, not because I have to in order to keep being seen from the algorithm. I wish more people realized that.
