@evan given it's nigh on impossible to renounce US citizenship and stop paying taxes.
The argument is that the rich would flee the country.
To which I ask, for where?
The Emirates? Where citizenship is bought and can be removed at the whim of a royal? To China, where the Politburo understands you keep the rich on the shortest of leashes? To the UK, who opened their doors to Russian gangsters who shiv, poison, and defenestrate?
@MauroV1968 Sì, ma preferisco sempre l'idea che sia la confederazione a prendersi "cura" di noi. Anzi se anche Francia e Germania volessero spartirci... 🤷
Switched browsers from Firefox to Waterfox this AM. From the bsky thread, they seem to be having a glitch where FF's not showing up as an import option, but I simply exported bookmarks as HTML and imported that way. I don't save logins in my browser and don't really use extensions, so that was about all I needed. Now I'm relogging into my main accounts (like mastodon). Overall straightforward, and the experience is pretty much like FF.https://www.waterfox.com#firefox #waterfox #noAI
The irony 🫣 : #Firefox of all projects in the world should absolutely know better when it comes to browsers NOT adding bloat and becoming "a broader ecosystem of trusted software".
@rdnsThanks, nice idea.I can suppose they both work in a similar way: TrackerControl is filtering requests based on a list then passing by to InviZible Pro for the DNS part (I had disabled system private DNS or TC complains).ReThinkDNS has the same concepts but within a single app.So, having the same blocking lists, do they have the same blocking and privacy effect?@fdroidorg
