Bit of a magical evening moment. With Ramadan underway, we thought we'd hit up the local shawarma spot for a big shawarma-chicken plate, and a bag of pita, and bring that home for supper.
The thin crescent moon was big and clear in the lower western sky. A very distant airplane was a pulsing dot moving down towards it, until it slowly crawled across the dark face of the moon.
A very tasty supper, great value filling us both up and with enough for lunch tomorrow.
