βpandoc for the peopleβ, the pandoc wasm web-app, is now available at https://pandoc.org/app/
It allows to run any kind of document conversion that pandoc supports in the browser. The documents never leave the computer, thus ensuring *full privacy*.
Conversions to pdf are done via Typst. -

ππ@metaphil π Sounds like you're on Arch Linux, as that's a general problem with Haskell apps on Arch. If you want to keep pandoc installed locally, then checkout the `pandoc-bin` package on AUR. It's not maintained by any of the pandoc core devs, but is generally accepted as the best way to install pandoc on Arch.

@informapirata @enriconardelli @informatica era ora! Che toccava a me, docente di Materie Letterarie, insegnare ai miei studenti l'abc per usare android su tablet e smart, spiegargli come istallare ed usare programmi open free alternativi a Microsoft per realizzare ricerche e documenti in formato doc jepg pptx etc etc. E come salvare i loro lavori in specifiche cartelle per ritrovarli con facilitΓ . E questo era il minimo!

@morloi @francommit La legge per l'interoperabilitΓ giΓ esiste ma al momento WA supporta solo un'applicazione, ovviamente sconosciuta, chiamata BirdyChat.
