#eurobsdcon is next week! I'll be teaching SMTP and TLS, and raiding gelato shops.
I leave home Monday at 7PM, arrive Tuesday at 4PM. I suppose I better figure out how to get from the airport while brain-dead...

Fra i giovani emerge un elemento rilevante per la democrazia: l’elevato livello di impegno civico. Quasi un giovane su due (47%) in Italia ha già partecipato ad azioni collettive, con una crescita molto marcata rispetto al 2023. La partecipazione a proteste di piazza è passata dal 26% al 43%, mentre restano molto diffuse anche altre forme di azione, come il voto (77%), la firma di petizioni (64%) e le iniziative civiche (36%).

Something incredible has happened. I've stumbled on a band that is _exactly_ the sort of thing I like, and I had no familiarity with their music, though I'm sure I've heard the name. Moving Targets were in exactly the same orbit as three of my favorite bands of all time (Husker Du, Mission of Burma, and Lemonheads), sharing producer, label, scene, etc. with one or more of them.
I cannot believe I haven't been listening to them for 30+ years like the rest.
