@Edent what's so bad about <div> ... or: Why do you want to avoid them?
-
@happy sadly not.
@Edent
I very rarely use chrome so wasn't aware of that specific issue -
@b34n5 I can't find an Android version of that - can you share a link, please?
@Edent You need to add the repository to F-Droid. Here's the link: https://skyjake.github.io/fdroid/repo/

@Edent
Just checked, I get the same result in Firefox, but it works fine with Vivaldi. I also checked with the Duckduckgo browser on my phone (using the DDG !gopher bang that uses the proxy) and again worked fine. -

@homer @Edent The download link for Android isn't in the link above. You can download the lagrange pre-release via F-Droid here:

@Edent did you see the untappd API is going commercial-use-only ?
Your existing tokens may randomly stop working :-(
Disappointed in #untappd as was about to use your code to cross post herehttps://untappd.com/api/register
"we are no longer making API access available without a commercial agreement.
...
Please note that existing API tokens may no longer continue to work as we enforce these new policies. " -

If you pay for their premium membership you can get a JSON export.
Or, you can just screen scrape your data.

@Edent
thanks for the hint: Works perfect!Btw.: there is still one german newspaper running a gopher server :-) @tazgetroete

Oh I love that !
A new exercice ! Absolutely needed on my website !
I will probably reuse my gemini-capsule output code for that !Edit: Done https://villepreux.net/about/?format=txt
Seems to be working.
With ?format=text on all URLs
(ie. https://villepreux.net/about/?format=txt)Would text/gemini content-type be acceptable to be on your list ;-) or is text/plain required ?
-
@Edent Very salient points.
-
@eythian please do!

@villapirorum that's very cool! I don't know anything about Gemini. Do you have a link I could try?

Thanks !
The equivalent gemini capsule page of the link in my previous post (https://villepreux.net/about/?format=txt) can be found here : gemini://unbon.cafe/villapirorum/about
But you'll need a client/browser suporting it (I'm using Lagrange : https://gmi.skyjake.fi/lagrange)If you're interested by the gemini protocol : https://geminiprotocol.net
Edit: Lagrange is available on Android and supports Gopher
