Once upon a time, there was a President who wanted to be a dictator.
He wanted civil unrest but people stayed peaceful.
So, he broke the system, cut off food benefits to 42 million people, expecting people to get violent and break laws, so that he could declare martial law. That way he could shut down elections.
But the people stayed peaceful. Neighbors helped neighbors and they kept fighting against his takeover until they kicked him out.
