@randahl Seeing those pictures makes me want to build wind turbines and solar panels even harder. It makes sense environmentally (see THIS video), economically (cheap) and strategically (decentralized, fewer problematic dependencies).

@randahl And the moment you point out the attrocities you get people saying "yeah, war is horrific, what did you expect?". Well, I expected a war to be voted on. I expected "representatives" to fix, and not enflame, the domestic issues they touted throughout the election cycle before enrolling in another foreign conflict. And I expected them to not be using it all as a diversionary tactic to cover up the highest profile pedophile in all of human history.

@randahl this is so deeply, deeply depressing. On top of the terrible loss of human life, now this, which may well be the final straw.
I think I've moved from climate anxiety to deep climate grief. I saw a clip where a speaker said that this is the only period in history where we mourn in advance. Even when we see something beautiful, we know it's all ending.
