Intervento inaugurale
Dopo ormai due anni di presenza su questa istanza ma pressoché totale inattività, ho deciso di recuperare il profilo per discussioni che riguardino temi politici, economici e sociali, lasciando ciò che resta di geek/nerd a Livello Segreto e iniziando a scindere così in più parti la mia vita digitale nel Fediverso (visto che Friendica non ha limitazioni di testo).

@ColonelKramer I know. But I want to continue to demonstrate that this can be run from a 4 euro per month VPS.
I have plenty of powerful hardware to use, but this is a mission.

@mirabilos I did it and it didn't help.
It isn't the first time I see something like this. If the VM has higher CPU or Disk or Network usage, providers throttle it. ZFS send is extremely slow and loading the system, even if the disk activity is low.
I'll try and see, then contact the provider.
