Trump's SOTU speech is said to be at least two hours long, possibly three. Don't watch. He won't say anything you can't read about in five minutes tomorrow, and you know he cares A LOT about ratings.
Do yourself a favor and watch something else. TCM is running the 1944 movie "Gaslight" tonight—it's where the term "gaslighting" comes from. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
@augieray I cannot imagine situation im which I would be able for three hours to listen one personě, especially... ehm... slow one 🤷🏼

Remember that cult leaders often use meandering, nonsensical speech as a tactic.
The listener's brain stops trying to make it make sense, gets bored, & goes into passive absorption "waiting for it to be over" mode. Dangerous.

@augieray five minutes? The Guardian has a headline "Trump claims economic success while bashing supreme court and Democrats in longest State of the Union address in history" and even that seems like too much.
