One of my favorite bars used to have an absolutely epic cubano sandwich for happy hour, like something that escaped from man vs food. Over time, they've fallen into the cost cutting death spiral, and now every time I go back the sandwich gets 25% smaller, but the plate is 50% smaller to hide the difference. So now I got something not much bigger than a slider served on a hockey puck, which is suboptimal because the sandwich still tends to fall apart when picking it up, but there's no longer enough surface area to catch the fallout.
