I don't remember many details; I had lost my family in an accident less than a year before, and my brother, who always told me how to get around, wasn't there to help me. I walked around the block of the Rectorate twice until I found the place to submit my registration and documents :) I went through the procedure mechanically, choosing 5 courses: physics, calculus, chemistry, language, and the optional course was Fortran. I left relieved and in a hurry: I want to go back home. -

For me, the registration itself was already a purely online process. But your text brought up the memory of my "point of no return", and I felt similar. I enjoyed reading this. -
