Someone tried to go fast and it slowed them down. It was me.
The wrinkled panels on the right were not pinned correctly before sewing, and I had to redo my work a couple times, and it still turned out wrinkly.
I will never learn. -

What should have been quick took forever, and I’m not sure how I’m going to finish the bottom edge.* I’m not following a commercial pattern for this, and that’s starting to show.*not a request for help. There’s a complicated order of operations problem that I introduced by the way I inserted the hip panels. I will solve it be being a little messy.

#sewingToday I have to insert the cups. And I’m dreading it. This is just an under-layer. It’s fine. It does not have to be perfect, but my brain wants to start over.

Still a very funny object. Right side is fully sewn down and underwired, left is just clipped in. I think if I knew what I know now, I would have made a regular over-bust corset.

#sewingOnly thing left to do is bind the hem and hammer in grommets. This thing took at least three times my initial time estimate, but it is looking like a thing someone made on purpose, so that’s good.

Bones need to be bent, and the cups need to be taken in a little. I think i can do that. The body of the corset ends up contributing to that part of the fit, so I just need to compensate for that.

Dopo la pausa natalizia riparto anche con le mie interviste agli sviluppatori italiani.
Stasera ho sentito due dei creatori di Half Away, un videogioco ispirato al folklore slavo e a quello giapponese.
Tra l'altro ho giocato il loro Half Away durante le vacanze.
In realtà l'ho iniziato ma non concluso perché poi mi sono messo a giocare a un sacco di altre cose.
Che ne penso di Half Away?

@aeva Eclipse CDT (C++ Plugin) has a new LSP-based mode which for some reason replaces the whole text-editor widget with something that doesn't respect the syntax coloring settings you made in the global preferences.
What's even worse: It only seems to allow a handful of themes and somehow Solarized Light is the default o_O
