What is your absolute favorite monospaced font?

@howtophil YES!
Yes, I Have!
But!,,,
Not on any of my Linux machines, and frankly I had forgotten about it so I thank you for reminding me!
@afreytes You can also convert ebooks/epubs using Calibre and have it as the font for the books (embedded in the epub). Lets me read faster without losing any comprehension. Also helps me speed-read faster... losing about the same level of comprehension because I need to practice speed-reading more
-
@wilson This is my current favorite. But I admit I have not used it on any of my Linux machines.
I will correct that soon.
Thank you!

@howtophil Yes, I feel like this is precisely how I first encountered the whole OpenDyslexic fonttype.

@afreytes Amiga Topaz 11 (NOT Topaz 8, that's ugly). Use with square pixel aspect ratio.
Second favorite is C64 ROM font, with NTSC pixel aspect ratio (7:9 tall pixels).

@isaackuo I still sometimes configure whatever terminal to have the C64 font and the blue on blue colorway.
I will have to try the Amiga font, which I'm almost sure I have never actually used.

@afreytes Monaspace! It’s very clever, its monospaced but uses OpenType to set glyph widths so that the overall tone of type looks even. I use it as the text face on my blog.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations!
Except for the Amiga.Topaz.11, I have all of these in my download folder as we speak, and I will be trying them out in the following weeks.
Thanks again, much obliged.

@afreytes Comic Mono. I actually like Comic Sans due in part to fond childhood associations with The Sims, on top of that one Vsauce video, though Comic Mono is definitely noticeably removed from Sans.

@lepidotos I don't hate Comic Sans... or Papyrus!
I feel like both have been bullied, and are perhaps victims of their own success, so to speak.
