As it's tailored to small instances, it tries to increase their visibility and federation reach by sending posts to all its known instances.I completely understand that it can feel like spam when many new cities appear, and I'm sorry for the annoyance. This "push" behavior is a feature that could technically be disabled, but we choose to keep it active intentionally.The reason is that this "discoverability" feature is extremely useful and widely appreciated by users on larger instances. It's often the only way they can find and follow cities that nobody on their instance is following yet. Without it, many cities would simply be invisible.It's definitely a trade-off, but it's proven to be essential for helping FediMeteo grow and connect across the network.2) I'll think about it, thank you for your suggestion. The current idea is "what's the weather like now? Ok, what's the trend of the coming days?". Then, if people are interested, they can go deeper and see hour-by-hour details. But I'll re-consider it.Thank you for your feedback!
